Associated with the Iklaina Project is the Program for Regional Investigations of Sustainability in Messenia (PRISM). The objective of PRISM is the study of cultural and resource sustainability in an area of Greece which is currently being developed for tourism. The program, directed by Dr. Deborah Ruscillo, Assistant Director of the Iklaina Project, is based in Municipality 5 of Pylos-Nestoras in Messenia and is open to students and Iklaina participants.
